Computer Skills
Python
Advanced
My coding journey had started with learning C in the university. However, I decided to improve those skills with innovative software in order to be competitive. I took online courses from Udemy and DataCamp to learn both coding and data science. To improve myself, I did several projects and it was fun to code each project. During my works; I gained knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, PIL and Random Modules. In my Blog, you may find my Python works.
SAP
Advanced
During my first job experience, I had the opportunity to use SAP frequently. It was a great chance to learn ERP philosophy and SAP Modules like; PP(Production Planning), MM(Material Management), SD(Sales and Distributions).
PowerBI
Basic
In my first job experience, the company arranged a course about PowerBI. This course helped me to learn data analytics, data visualization, business intelligence and reporting. Although I have not had enough chances to improve myself in PowerBI, I can easily adapt and learn it.
Excel (Solver, Query, YASAI)
Advanced
Besides basic calculation and visualization purposes, I can also use Excel for Solver, Query and simulation tasks.
By Solver, I am able to model and solve optimization problems.
Thanks to Query, I can create tables and reports that can be fed continuously with fresh data.
YASAI is a Monte Carlo Simulation add-in and I had many projects to model and simulate which makes Excel even more fun!
SAP Ariba
Intermediate
As a Purchasing Engineer, SAP Ariba is a useful online tool to perform procurement processes. With the contribution of the suppliers, SAP Ariba helps us to successfully manage the early sourcing activities.
Minitab
Intermediate
As a Quality Control Engineer, I frequently use Minitab for Control Charts, Time Series, Individual Distribution Identification and other basic statistics tools.
Teamcenter
Intermediate
By using this PLM software, I am able to track design walk throughs of the commodities with the inclusion of the designer and supplier. Although it is not required for my primary tasks, I like to surf in Teamcenter!
Microsoft Office
Advanced
I always like to present things in a good visual. To achieve this, I frequently use PowerPoint, Word, Excel. Each essay and project is a chance for me to develop Microsoft Office skills. Although for PowerPoint and Word, my skills are suitable for reporting and visualisation; in Excel I can perform much complicated tasks. I am also able to use Excel Solver and Excel YASAI Add-ins.
XLMiner
Intermediate
During one semester course "Data Mining for Business Intelligence" in my Master's, I learned to use XLMiner for data mining purposes. Throughout the course, for each project I used different methods such as kNN, Neural Networks, Naive Bayes, Decision Trees etc.
R
Basic
In my Master's, I took a Statistics course which was held with the help of R software. My knowledge in R was just about basic statistics operations. Since I can use Python and Minitab, I did not give priority to improving it.
KeyCreator
Proficient
KeyCreator is a 3-D Drawing program which is used for education purposes in my university. Although I am quite proficient at 3-D drawing, I did not want to improve myself in such an area. Therefore, I did not try to learn a new 3-D drawing software.
CES
Proficient
During my undergraduate studies, I had lots of opportunities to use Cambridge Engineering Selector software for research purposes.
MSC Marc
Basic
As a part of my undergraduate course, I used MSC Marc for non-linear finite elements analysis. Although I have not used or studied such a method for a long time, I am planning to improve my skill in this topic in future.
