Onur in Future
When I decided to build this website, the main intention was to express myself in a detailed manner. In this section, I want to talk about my future objectives and goals. I believe this is the best way to understand one's personality and perception of life.
In undergraduate times, I attended Metallurgical and Materials Engineering courses with a great passion. I am always excited by figuring out the phenomena behind the materials and seeing how small atoms can alter properties significantly. However, in business life, many of the engineers are facing the truth that their theoretical knowledge may find little opportunity to take the stage.
By the aid of my Master's, I gained a broader vision in engineering. I realized that engineering is not all about manufacturing better products, but also more economic and more environmentally friendly ones.
Now, I want both "Engineering" and "Management" to be in my life. Engineering and management are two interdisciplinary professions, in which you need to collect as much experience and vision from other professions as you can. More importantly, it is crucial to be able to melt these two disciplines in the same pot while regarding new world requirements. In our era, coding and data management skills are important. However, in the near future those skills will be the must, so I need to be ready for it. To be well worded, in my future career, I want to be a complete engineer and manager. By gaining abilities from other fields like accounting, R&D, production, quality, sales, procurement etc., I can be a sufficient top manager.
In the future, if Onur will succeed in his goals, he can be a top manager as he dreamed from childhood. However, whatever the case will be, Onur will not be happy with just his title or salary. Onur will only be happy and satisfied as long as he contributes to society, his colleagues, his system/organization and world humanity. Onur will always fight against injustice and discrimination. Onur will never be tired while making the world a better place.
